I’m Matt Mendes, a Kingsburg native and real estate agent, who’s passionate about making homeownership feel possible, especially for those who think it’s out of reach. Whether you’re a first-time buyer or building a portfolio, my focus is simple: clear strategy, strong communication, and a smooth, stress-free experience.

What sets me apart is my background as a 9-1-1 dispatch supervisor.

Every day, I’m trained to stay calm under pressure, solve problems in real time, and communicate clearly when stakes are high. Real estate transactions can move fast and get emotional, but I bring a level-headed, solutions-first approach to every deal. When challenges come up (and they always do), I don’t panic, I navigate.

Before real estate, I built a career in television news earning my degree in Journalism and Mass Communication from Fresno State and working as a TV news anchor and reporter across the West Coast. That experience sharpened my ability to advocate, negotiate, and keep clients informed every step of the way.

My work ethic started early, working at 13 as a dishwasher and busboy in my family’s steakhouse. That foundation still drives how I show up today: no ego, no shortcuts... just consistent effort and putting people first.

I believe real estate isn’t just about buying or selling a home; it’s about creating stability, building equity, and opening the door to long-term opportunity.

We have about 70 real estate agents with a marketing professional. We communicate pre-listings and buyer needs within our brokerage through an app called "Fyrst Up" before homes even hit the market.
